Flap Dash Duel - Tiktok Live Interactive Game
A downloadable game for Windows
Flap Dash Duel is a Flappy Bird-style 1v1 built for TikTok Live. Two birds, one course, one split screen: RED flies the left half, BLUE flies the right, and the audience watching your stream picks a side and fights over the result with TikTok gifts. First bird through the pipe goal wins the round.
It's the versus mode of Flap Dash, ScrollPlay's one-button flyer — same tap-to-flap, same pipes, except now there are two birds and chat is holding the controls that actually matter.
A Flappy Bird battle where the audience is the second player
Everybody already knows how to play this. Tap and the bird rises, let go and gravity takes it down, thread the gap. That is the entire control scheme, which is exactly why it works as a TikTok Live game: someone scrolling past your stream understands the rules in a second and can change the outcome in two.
What's new is the second bird. Both halves fly the same course from the same server-issued seed, so neither team gets an easier track. Auto play is on by default and flies both birds for you — that's deliberate, because a duel should be decided by your chat and not by whether one streamer can fly two birds at once. Switch it off in the settings panel and it becomes a real two-player game on one keyboard: F flaps red, J flaps blue.
What TikTok gifts do, and why they land so hard
Every gift is sent for a team. One backs your own bird; the rest are aimed at the other half of the screen.
Help your own bird
- 🫧 Bubble — a bubble forms around your team's bird and floats it forward up the course
Hit the other one
- 🥊 Rocket fist — punches the other bird back a pipe
- 💨 Desk fan — plants itself in the other bird's face and blows it backwards
- ✈️ Toy jet — drives in on afterburners and shoves the other bird down the course
- 🚂 Steam train — a locomotive charges in and hauls the other bird back
- 🕳️ Black hole — tears open on their side and swallows the whole run back to zero
One point is one pipe, and that is the whole trick. A gift doesn't nudge a number in the corner and flash a sticker — it physically moves a bird along the course. The digits count down a pipe at a time while the bird is dragged back over ground it already covered, and every pipe it lost has to be flown again. That's what makes a cheap gift feel like something and an expensive one feel like an event.
Every action ships in a red version and a blue version on price-matched gifts, so neither team is fighting cheaper. Re-bind any gift, re-price any action, or build your own in Studio Mode. Likes and follows can fire actions too, so viewers who never spend a coin can still push on the race.
A crash isn't a death
In the solo game one pipe ends the run. That can't work in a versus game — a half of the screen that stops flying turns the other half into a cutscene and hands its viewers a loss they had no say in. So a crash costs a fixed number of pipes and the bird is back a beat later. Nothing ends a round except a bird reaching the goal.
When a round is won you get the banner, the confetti, a running rounds-won tally between the two team names, and a fresh round counting itself down on a brand new course. You don't touch anything between rounds.
The score is the show, so the server owns it
Both scores, the course itself, every gift amount and the winner are computed on ScrollPlay's game server. The game window is a renderer — it never decides a number that reaches your stream. When your chat is watching a race, the number they're watching is real.
And if a black hole wipes a run, you can drop a Save Timer into your Studio Mode scene: a countdown appears over the flattened half showing the gift that would rewind it, and the audience decides whether that bird gets its pipes back. The rescue is exactly what the black hole took, never more.
What you need to run it
- A Windows PC and the free ScrollPlay launcher
- A TikTok account with LIVE access
- TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS to capture the game window
- Flap Dash Duel is part of ScrollPlay's Play Pass catalogue — the launcher and its free games (DEFUSE!, Jello Merge, Jaywalkin') cost nothing, this title needs an active Play Pass
Your viewers install nothing at all. They watch, gift, like and follow from TikTok exactly like they already do.
Questions people ask
Is there a Flappy Bird game for TikTok Live? Not an official one — the original has no live-audience hooks, and the bird mini-game hidden in TikTok's DMs is a single-player easter egg your viewers can't touch. Streamers run a Flappy Bird-style game built for TikTok Live instead. This is one, in 1v1 form.
Can you play Flappy Bird 1v1 or 2-player? That's what this is. Two birds on one split screen, racing the same course. With auto play on it's your audience versus itself; with auto play off, two people share a keyboard (F and J).
What's the difference between Flap Dash and Flap Dash Duel? Flap Dash is the solo run — one bird, one score, gifts helping or hurting the streamer. Flap Dash Duel is the same flying as a red-vs-blue race, where every gift belongs to a side and the round ends when a bird reaches the goal.
Is this the bird game in TikTok's DMs? No. That one is a hidden mini-game inside TikTok chats that you play alone on your phone. This is a desktop game for live broadcasts, where the audience is in the loop.
Is this an official Flappy Bird game? No. See the note below — it's an original game in the same one-button flying genre, built from the ground up for live streaming.
